Case StudyHotels24Seven

Inspired (and indeed envied) by the results I was achieving for my clients, I decided I needed a project of my own. My close working relationship with a Gatwick hotel showed me there was opportunity to become a booking agent in my own right.

I registered and built and it was not long before I was achieving strong organic listings. ‘Stock’ came via other, larger booking agents happy to pay reasonable commission to 3rd party affiliates.

Of course, a geographic URL was limiting my expansion outside of the Gatwick area. Hotels24seven was born and I book hotel rooms across the UK. My annual turnover is approaching £2m.

Hotels24seven is the quintessential showcase of all my web and marketing abilities. I pride myself in keeping the business dynamic, innovative and agile. It hasn’t all been plain sailing but I’ve learned to fail quickly and move on (credit to Richard Branson for that tip).

Owning and operating my own going-concern has made me a much more rounded, knowledgeable and down-right better digital consultant.
